themadoneI managed to get up to 17mph. Mostly I suspect this is cos crossing the junction near Staines library is a bit scarey and I always put a bit of welly in to get across before someone drives into the back of me.
Still, getting up to that kind of speed from stationary in a few seconds is quite good. And I was in the wrong gear. I suspect giving the bike a good lubing before I set off helped.
