Return Of The Cyst

Today as I think I mentioned previously, I had an appointment at the local hospital's dental unit, after my dentist referred me. At the time I had no idea why she'd done this, but I knew it was something related to the x-rays she's been doing to keep an eye on my root canal work. It turns out after lots more x-rays and some poking and prodding that my cyst (see episode 1: A New Cyst) has returned.

The rather attractive blonde dentist/doctor woman was very helpful and informative about it all. She was even keen to check the previous operation results to see if she could work out why it had come back, but her boss reckoned it was just a normal infection type cyst. The end result of my afternoon at the hospital is that, yet again, I've got to go under the knife and have the cyst removed. I'm not particular worried as I know what to expect, I guess if anything I'm a little confused as to why it's happened again. Hopefully she's as competent as she was attractive and will once she has the cyst out be able to work out what is going on. For now I have to wait for another appointment.
