Spent my first "work" night in the new place. Went exceedingly well. I woke up 20 minutes before the alarm was due to go off which was a bit annoying, but that just meant that when it did I was ready to leap out of bed and turn it off. Managed to have breakfast before I went to work, but forgot to make lunch. Got to train with a few minutes to spare so I think I've guessed the right time to leave.
One thing I forgot to mention about the party was the VAST amount of booze left behind. Mostly it's people buying far more than they could ever need and then leaving most of it. I've devoted an entire cupboard to it all.
Daniel (aka BigBird) also left behind a bottle of maple syrup which Nick had bought for him. At the time I found it, it was sitting on the floor in the bedroom which was mildly worrying at the time. I wasn't sure if someone was being odd or kinky or what. Thankfully it's been claimed so now I know the full story behind it - but unfortunately it means I can't have maple syrup on pancakes now.
