Almost missed the train from Slough this morning, cos they moved it to the platform right next to the one that the Windsor train arrives on. It was only my sharp (yeah right) hearing catching that the guard was yelling that the train was going to Maidenhead that I twigged that this was the train for me. No idea what was going on - I suspect it's probably something to do with the engineering works at Paddington.

Of course it's highly likely that the train I normally catch would have turned up on time on the right platform, but I won't know now cos I made a choice and stuck with it. Although in a variety of parallel universes, there are several me waiting for the train as I must have made a bazzillion decisions on the way to work this morning.
