Blah.

That pretty much sums things up. Nothing much happening recently. Don't feel particular happy or sad. Just blah. Thankfully I have a lovely weekend of fun to look forward to and this time I should be able to find the party :)

Right...freshers fayre. Hopefully it hasn't finished really earlier or something and that I can find all the stands I want. Knowing my luck there's a really HUGE queue.

Well...all done. I was right though - they had a HUGE queue which for ages didn't move. Silly SU. Did mean I got to decline lots of leaflets and chat to battle re-enactment folk.

But I got in eventually and signed up with the 4 socs I wanted: IFIS, GameSoc, RockSoc and Battle Re-enactment. RockSoc looks like it's really eager this year, although they've got Arseface as treasurer, so I expect he'll be off to sunny climes soon.

Went to book club last night, although it was pretty pointless as I'd not had a chance to read any of the books enough to discuss them. Thankfully we've only got 1 book this time to read, so I might make more of an effort this time.

I have discovered that I'm thankfully not as unfit as I'd expected to be. I cycled there and managed an average of 10mph which is less than I used to manage (12mph) but is better than when I first started cycling (9mph).

I need to fit more exercise into my life and I suspect start eating better again. Lunch at work is actually worse than it was at the BBC cos there are so many unhealthy options and the team goes to lunch together. Must have a stronger willpower and resist the temptationi to follow the others to get junk food.
