Grrr...ARG!
Apr. 2nd, 2009 09:43 amYesterday I didn't have to go to Slough! Yayy! But instead had to work at the old office and help clear out one of the store rooms. Luckily there wasn't too much to do by the time I got there (stupid me accidently left Blackberry in Tescos and had to go back for it), so I got to spend the rest of the day working from home.
Speaking of Home, I discovered yesterday that Sony have actually started doing something fun with it. I'm not sure when it started, but at some point fairly recently they launched an ARG called Xi. The initial few puzzles were pretty much confined to websites connected to the game world, but yesterday a new puzzle got released that poked it's tendrils into the real world too. A spooky video containing the first part of a code and clues to the other 7 parts was "discovered". Amazingly all the parts were found by the end of yesterday too with people apparently travelling many hours to find the billboards with the code parts on.
It'd be nice if some of the future puzzles could have stuff I could go check out, cos that'd be kinda cool. Especially if I'm the first one there.
