So far so good. Bursting at the seams after eating far too much food. Only mild low point was the lack of rum/brandy butter.

Loot wise, there is nothing unusual from family. Some DVDs, a cookery book, some oven gloves and some kind of tamagotchi clone.

Mum is still hinting I should cook more. Still can't see the point in cooking for just me. I'm far too fickle to want the same thing too often.

Don't worry about it, I don't see the point of cooking for just me, and when I get in so late, I can never be bothered. Perhaps though you should do some cooking for other people, and then tell her that you've done it?
Especially if you're a good cook.

I ain't worried. Just would like a change. Maybe something I can actually read. I'll have to remember to put some fiction on my wishlist for next year.
