The week has so far been going pretty OK. Today was the taster sessions and whilst they had us holed up in the middle of nowhere, we still got plenty of people showing some sign of interesting. I did marshalling duties and engaged people walking along the path and directing them to the action on the nearby field.

Very tiring though. Looking forward to Freshers Fayre next.

I can imagine terrified Freshers following your directions simply because a man with a sharp weapon jumped out of the bushes by Jane Holloway and said "Want to see some swords?"

Although I doubt that's how it went.

*grins* No, it was more a case of me standing on the path with my sword carefully not pointing towards them and asking them if they wanted to see a demonstration of sword fighting.
